Rare Mid Century Herman Miller Walnut Sideboard designed by acclaimed Architect /Designer George Nelson who was a pioneer of modernist post war modernist design.

The Sideboard was designed for the high end Executive Office Range in the early 1960’s commissioned by Herman Miller Furniture and retailed through Heals and other high end retailers across Europe and USA.

Constructed of high end Walnut with a spectacular grain and tone, chromed steel leg frame and black leather coated doors with chrome handles. There are glass doors the shelving section which are not shown in images but included and all in original perfect condition with no cracks or chips. The Bar Cabinet is accessed by a lift up top above the cupboard and has a white melamine drinks preparation ledge and recessed storage for bottle storage to the rear.

This is a large and imposing piece of furniture and epitomises the quality and design of both the designer and the maker. A true investment and a stand out piece from the modernist movement.
